This policy applies to all purchases made on turbotaxmall.com from TurbotaxMall LLC. All products we sell are digital software licenses delivered electronically; no physical item is shipped, so no physical return is required.
1. 30-day money-back guarantee
You may request a full refund of the purchase price within 30 days of your order date for any license code that has not been activated. Once the refund is approved, the license code is deactivated and must not be used.
2. Defective or invalid license codes
If a license code we supplied does not activate the exact product and edition it was sold for, contact us within 30 days of purchase. We will send a working replacement code or give you a full refund, at your choice.
3. Wrong edition purchased
If you bought the wrong edition and have not activated the code, we will refund you in full or exchange it for another edition (you pay or receive the price difference) within 30 days.
4. Activated license codes
Once a license code has been activated it is bound to your publisher account and cannot be returned to us, except where the code was defective (section 2) or where a refund is required by law. The publisher may offer its own satisfaction guarantee for activated software under its license agreement; any such claim is handled directly by the publisher under its terms.
5. Non-refundable items
- License codes that have been activated (except defective codes).
- Add-on services purchased from the publisher inside the software (for example state e-file fees, Live Tax Advice or Audit Defense), which are sold and refunded by the publisher, not by us.
6. How to request a refund or replacement

- Include your order number, the email used at checkout, and the reason for the request. For defective codes, include a screenshot of the activation error if possible.
- We confirm receipt within one business day and approve or decline the request within two business days.
7. Refund method and timing
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 3 business days of approval. Depending on your bank or card issuer, the credit may take an additional 5–10 business days to appear. There are no restocking or return fees.
8. Order cancellation
If your license code has not yet been delivered, you may cancel your order at any time for a full refund.
